What was disputed, and how it came out
Each issue the panel decided, with the reasoning it gave. An outcome is what this panel did on this record — not a rule, and not a prediction.
The Petition for Reconsideration was filed after the statutory deadline, depriving the Board of jurisdiction to consider it.
From the decision · page 4Here, the Joint Findings of Fact was served on January 20, 2026, on all interested parties, including defendant Sedgwick Claims Management Services, whose mailing address is in Lexington, Kentucky. Thus, the period for applicant to file the Petition for Reconsideration was extended until February 19, 2026. However, since applicant did not file the Petition until February 23, 2026, it was untimely.
